Speaker: Adrienne Wilkerson

Speakers

Adrienne is a lifelong educator who has been speaking and teaching professionally for the past 20+ years!

When she was a child, Adrienne would expatiate to anyone and everyone who would listen. She loved an audience! After growing up and attending the University of Alaska Anchorage as a Communications and Business Management Major, Adrienne taught and tutored students in communications (speech) and graphic design skills at a local high school in Anchorage. In 2013, she founded Beacon Marketing Academy (now BDU) with a passion for teaching her fellow Alaskan business and marketing professionals, covering topics like corporate branding, social media marketing, and strategic marketing strategy.

For 5 years, Adrienne was a certified trainer for the Member Success Program at Business Network International (BNI), frequently presenting to Alaska networking communities on topics such as word-of-mouth marketing, how to build your professional network, and personal branding. At an international conference with BNI, she presented a special session on social media marketing as an expert in the field. Since that time, she has spoken on inbound marketing at many conferences on a national and local scale for a variety of industries, including AIMS, The Associated General Contractors of Alaska’s Annual Conference, the Alaska Peony Conference, and the AABC Birth Institute. Adrienne is the author of Digital Marketing Roadmap. She has also been a guest speaker at the University of the Nations, an international, private university with a branch in Kona, Hawaii.

Adrienne’s speaking style is content-rich and conversational! She enjoys presenting the facts then fleshing them out with relevant stories. Her favorite topics include communication styles, women in business, entrepreneurship, strategic marketing, social media marketing strategy, as well as corporate and personal branding. She measures her success by her ability to relate the topic at hand to her audience so that they can walk away with practical application.

Well organized, interesting, well-paced even when taking questions from the audiences throughout the presentation. They presented useful specific information. Presenters (Adrienne and Jennifer) were engaging and had good command of the presentation.”
